WELCOME
Welcome to Our Music, Performing Place, Listening to Sydney. This event took place on Saturday, 30 June, 2012, at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and marks the first time the Sydney Conservatorium of Music has hosted a daylong event featuring Aboriginal musicians who call Sydney home.
Kevin Hunt is MC for the day, and also performs on the Stuart and Sons piano.
Please listen as Donna Ingram from the Metropolitan Land Council performs Welcome to Country. Anna Reid, Associate Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music welcomes artists to the Conservatorium, and pays her respects to Elders past and present.
